Serendipity Winifred Brown
Born: April 1, 23??
Age: carefully guarded secret (middle-aged)
Birthplace: Beaverton, Oregon, USA
Education: Claims University of Oregon as alma mater. Doctoral Degrees in Physics, Computers, other degrees in Mechanical Engineering, etc.
Profession: Inventor and Eccentric Trillionaire Genius (has “mad scientist” on her business cards)
History: Genius IQ; came from working class background, father was mechanic; while teenager decided to become an inventor and get rich so she could get guys; Has been married and divorced six times.
Appearance: 5’5”, a few pounds overweight (also undisclosed), brown eyes, curly brown hair. Not bad looking, but aware that she isn’t beautiful.
Dress: Wears overalls while tinkering, rest of the time wears what ever she wants. Doesn’t care about fashion.
Personality: Outgoing; aggressive; exuberant; work-a-holic; impossible is not in her vocabulary; adventurous, does first, then thinks about it; a little insensitive sometimes because she’s preoccupied; tries to be fair; honest to a fault; generous, sometimes too trusting; man crazy and cynical, but underneath there is a romantic streak; lacks social skills and comes across a little too strong sometimes; aware of her failings so listens to Sherman who has more common sense, and Wendell who is more cautious and sensitive to others. She doesn’t always take their advice, but she listens.

Sherman Peabody Conrad
Born: May 12, 1966
Age: 19 (looks younger due to small size and baby face)
Birthplace: Longview, Washington, USA
(would have been next door in Kelso if they had a hospital)
Education: Graduated Kelso High School, Class of ‘84, Currently working on Bachelor of Arts Degree online in 24th Century
Occupation: Assistant and Gofer to Serendipity Brown (She calls him her “Common Sense Expert”)
History: Lived in Kelso all his life. Fourth child of six kids. Raised in trailer court by mother who kept marrying or living with losers. Worked at McDonalds off I-5 in Kelso since high school. Stuck there after graduation due to scarce jobs in area. Moved from home day after graduation. Shared rundown apartment with three other guys. Accidentally kidnapped by Serendipity Brown on very first Time Travel Trip (making him the second person to ever travel in time.) When Dr. Brown kids that she should hire him, he begs her to keep him, jumping at the chance to get out of Kelso.
Appearance: Short (5’ 4½”), skinny, dark hair past his collar, horn rim glasses.
Dress: Favorite outfit is jeans, tennis shoes, and black Def Lepard T-shirt.
Personality: Life has left him a little pessimistic and unenthused. Still Life hasn’t sucked it all out. He has enough fire to jump at the chance to get out of his life, even if it means staying with some crazy lady to the 24th Century. Sherman has the ability to go beyond learning from his own mistakes to learning from other people’s mistakes. Mature and wise beyond his years. He has commonsense better than most. Also can see to the heart of a problem at times. Loyal to his friends, no matter their age. Unappreciated by the opposite sex, his one goal in life is to find that Special Girl…or at least get laid.

Wendell Abercrombie Howe
Born: March 3, 2575
Age: 85 (appears 40, due to 27th Century medicine slowing down the aging process)
Birthplace: Cambridge, England, UK
Education: Doctoral Degrees in Anthropology and History from University of Cambridge
Credentials: Licensed Time Traveler, registered by the Institute of Time Travel in the 27th century. Member of the Association of Temporal Anthropologists, Resident Temporal Anthropologist at University of Cambridge, Author of The Rise of Tea in Victorian Great Britain and It's Social Impact.
Profession: Temporal Anthropologist specializing in Victorian Age, goes by persona of an English gentleman. Currently working as Serendipity’s Time Travel Consultant.
History: Comes from a very long line of professors and teachers, many of them history professors at Cambridge for centuries. Family hoped he would follow the “family business”. Instead decided to become a Temporal Anthropologist and went gallivanting through the Victorian Age for 50 years. Destroyed his career when he helped Serendipity Brown when she was stranded in 1851. In the year 2660 ran off to the year 2353 to be with Serendipity Brown.
Appearance: Medium height and build, medium brown hair, sideburns to the bottom of his ears; modest mustache, average looks, not bad looking, but not striking, very unmemorable. Grey eyes that show more emotion than the rest of his face.
Dress: Wears Victorian suits even outside the 19th Century. Will wear something else only if absolutely necessary. Has a brown top hat he is partial to.
Personality: Ingrained in the Victorian Age. Appears very prudish, can’t say the word ‘sex’ or God forbid any crude four letter words like ‘shag’ or ‘boff’. Seems to have no problem doing it although he likes the lady to make the first move. Tries not to appear priggish, and fails. Tries to be polite to everyone. A gentleman who treats all women as ladies. Lives up to the idea of Victorian fair play. Lacks Victorian hypocrisy. Is not racist, sexist or elitist, treats others as his equal. Very stoic. Seldom shows his emotions, but underneath he is very sentimental, romantic and passionate. Voice usually very calm and even (Sherman compares him to a newscaster.) Retiring. A wallflower to the point of being invisible. Socially awkward at times due to lack of interaction with others. However he is sensitive to the feelings of others. Seems timid at times but can be brave when another is in danger.
